Fabric and fit. 100% ring-spun cotton pique, 5.2 oz/yd² (176 g/m²). Semi-fitted and side-seamed, with a two-button placket, dyed-to-match buttons, a flat knit collar and hemmed sleeves. The mark is embroidered to order on the left chest.

How to measure

Length — from the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.
Width — across the chest, from one side seam to the other, with the garment flat.
Sleeve — from the centre back of the collar to the cuff, or from the shoulder seam where noted.

Between two sizes? Size up.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle. Mild detergent, no fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Cool iron inside-out; never iron the print. Do not dry clean.

Spring 1944, Europe. The P-51D arrived in quantity in Europe that spring and became the primary long-range escort fighter. Its most obvious change was a new bubble canopy, which greatly improved the pilot's view. Span 37 ft, length 32 ft 3 in, six guns and a top speed of 437 mph. Our own top-view drawing, with no markings.
