HB-26 "TSUSHIMA"
The last great fleet action between pre-dreadnoughts. Also the most decisive.
On 27 and 28 May 1905, the Imperial Japanese Navy met the Russian Second Pacific Squadron in the strait between Korea and Japan. Within forty eight hours, the Russian fleet had effectively ceased to exist. The action proved long range gunnery, modern fire control, and modern training in the same engagement, and was studied in every drawing office in Europe within the year. The dreadnought arrived in the year that followed.
For those who understand that the next type of warship is usually drawn the morning after the last one was decisively used.
Harborborne. Built to Endure.
