New Guinea 1942 Chin-Scoop Fighter Mug
Secure checkout through Shopify
December 1942, New Guinea. A P-40K stationed at Port Moresby that month flew numerous defensive patrols: six .50-calibre wing guns, a liquid-cooled engine and the deep chin scoop. Our own side-view silhouette, with no markings. Remembered by the date, not slogans.
Print reads: 1942 · NEW GUINEA · XII·1942, with a solid side-view silhouette of the aircraft, on both sides.
- 11 oz glossy ceramic mug, about 3.8 in (9.7 cm) tall × 3.3 in (8.3 cm) across
- Design printed on both sides, so it reads right in either hand
- White or black glaze
- Printed to order (sublimation): colours sit in the glaze, not on top of it
- Hand-wash recommended to keep the print at its best
- Facts checked against official sources
