Fast Carriers 1945 Gull-Wing Fighter Mug
Secure checkout through Shopify
19 February 1945, the Pacific. The fast carriers had sailed that week with F4U-1D fighters aboard, and on the 19th they flew in support of the island landings. The inverted gull wing gave the huge 13 ft 1 in propeller room to clear the deck. Our own side-view silhouette, with no markings. Remembered by the date, not slogans.
Print reads: 1945 · FAST CARRIERS · 19·II·1945, with a side-view silhouette of the aircraft, on both sides.
- 11 oz glossy ceramic mug, about 3.8 in (9.7 cm) tall × 3.3 in (8.3 cm) across
- Design printed on both sides, so it reads right in either hand
- White or black glaze
- Printed to order (sublimation): colours sit in the glaze, not on top of it
- Hand-wash recommended to keep the print at its best
