19 February 1945, the Pacific. The fast carriers had sailed that week with F4U-1D fighters aboard, and on the 19th they flew in support of the landings on Iwo Jima. The inverted gull wing gave the huge 13 ft 1 in propeller room to clear the deck. Our own side-view drawing, with no markings. Remembered by the date, not slogans.
