1942. The P-40K improved on the earlier E model: six .50-calibre wing guns, a three-blade propeller and a liquid-cooled engine, on a type known for its ruggedness. In December 1942 one was stationed in New Guinea, flying defensive patrols. Our own top-view silhouette, with no markings.
Print reads: 1942, under a solid top-view silhouette of the aircraft, on both sides.
- 11 oz glossy ceramic mug, about 3.8 in (9.7 cm) tall × 3.3 in (8.3 cm) across
- Design printed on both sides, so it reads right in either hand
- White or black glaze
- Printed to order (sublimation): colours sit in the glaze, not on top of it
- Hand-wash recommended to keep the print at its best
- Facts checked against official sources
