Carrier-Launched Bomber 1942 Tee
Secure checkout through Shopify
18 April 1942, the Pacific. It began as a chance observation that Army twin-engined bombers could be launched from an aircraft carrier. That morning sixteen B-25Bs did it, their long, non-folding wings parked on the flight deck all the way across the ocean. Our own top-view drawing, with no markings.
Front print reads: 18·IV·1942 · CARRIER-LAUNCHED BOMBER, under a top-view drawing of the aircraft.
