Carrier-Launched Bomber 1942 Mug
Secure checkout through Shopify
18 April 1942, the Pacific. It began as a chance observation that Army twin-engined bombers could be launched from an aircraft carrier. That morning sixteen B-25Bs did it, their long, non-folding wings parked on the flight deck all the way across the ocean. Our own top-view silhouette, with no markings.
Print reads: 18·IV·1942, under a top-view silhouette of the aircraft, on both sides.
- 11 oz glossy ceramic mug, about 3.8 in (9.7 cm) tall × 3.3 in (8.3 cm) across
- Design printed on both sides, so it reads right in either hand
- White or black glaze
- Printed to order (sublimation): colours sit in the glaze, not on top of it
- Hand-wash recommended to keep the print at its best
- Facts checked against official sources
